Complete guide to installing and configuring the Bynder DAM connector module in SitecoreAI.
Module Installation Overview
The Bynder DAM connector can be accessed and configured through two different methods in SitecoreAI:
- Fullscreen App - Dedicated fullscreen modal for setup and module management
- Pages Context Panel - Setup through the right-side panel when editing pages
Each method uses the same underlying setup wizard and configuration process. Choose whichever method works best for your workflow.
Setup Flow
When users first access the connector through any method, they'll see the setup wizard:
First Access to Connector

Step 1: Install Templates & Items

Step 2: Configure API Key
↓
Step 3: Setup Complete
↓

Regardless of which access method you use, the setup banner automatically detects your module status:

| not-installed | Templates don't exist | "Setup Required" with Install button |
| templates-only | Templates exist, no system item | "Setup Required" with Install button |
| configured | System item exists, no API key | "Setup Required" with Install button |
| invalid-api-key | API key invalid or unreachable | "Invalid API Key" with Reconfigure button |
| ready | All configured and validated | "Module installed and ready" |
| success | Just completed setup | "Module Installed Successfully!" |
